Brush fire erupts in West Greenwich

A brush fire broke out on Route 95 south in West Greenwich Wednesday morning.

Officials said the fire was between exits 14 and 18.
Firefighters from Exeter were called to help assist.
The Department of Environmental Management said the fire spanned around 1.6 acres.
